It all started with Umberto’s grandmother, a respected leather supplier for some of the most iconic fashion houses — including Giorgio Armani, Roberta di Camerino, and Borbonese. Her small artisan workshop became known for its meticulous attention to detail, impeccable quality, and unmatched reliability.

In the 1990s, Umberto’s parents took the reins and introduced a bold new vision. A project with Maserati led them to specialize in luxury travel trunks — functional art pieces that soon caught the eye of a prominent London interior designer. That pivotal moment opened the door to a new world: interior design and custom leather furnishings.

Growing up in this environment, Umberto developed a keen eye for design and a deep appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship. His passion led to the founding of LeBravo as we know it today — a team of highly skilled artisans, many of whom were trained through a school his parents founded to keep traditional skills alive.

Today, LeBravo offers an exquisite collection of Italian leathers, artisan finishes, and fully custom solutions — from wall paneling to bespoke furniture applications, indoors and out.
